To enhance safety and mobility options in the area, the City of Tallahassee is in the design stage for sidewalk improvements along:

• Rollins Street from Old Bainbridge Road to Bennett Street
• Bennett Street from Rollins Street to W. Sixth Avenue
• W. Sixth Avenue from Bennett Street to Old Bainbridge Road

In addition, the project will upgrade water main within the project limits and reconstruct a portion of sanitary sewer along Rollins Street.

The City hosted a community meeting on April 18, 2024, to share design options and gather input. Staff from the City’s Underground Utilities and Public Infrastructure Department were present to discuss the project and answer questions.
