Hi there, I’m Diego! I came to the shelter as a nervous stray, but now that I’m in a loving foster home, I’ve come out of my shell and I’m loving life! Cuddling is one of my favorite activities and I’m happiest curled up on the couch with my people. But don’t get the wrong idea: I love to play too! Running around a yard, playing with toys, and chewing on sticks is my idea of a good time. I have a lot of energy to spend, so I’ll do best with someone who will join me on both my outdoor adventures and my naps. I also do my best with my house manners: I’m fully potty trained, I sleep through the night, and baths don’t bother me at all. It may take me a while to relax with new people, but once I get to know you, I warm right up. I’m ready to keep growing and learning in my forever home—could that be you?
